Sorry, but i have to show a picture of some of my favourit ss. They really look amazing, you can almost see yourself in them. I think my camera sucks, it dosent really capture the glow and real colour. If you look closely you see the reflection of my red shirt ;)

Hmm, well i think that some pearl jewelry sellers, for example ( say that a strand is AAA, and im sure there is 1 or 2 that are AA+ in that strand ). Maybe because the seller dident find X AAA pearls, or he just want to make a little more $$$, or maybe some sellers just dont have the experience...

South Sea is the king ! It has it all ! :D I cant see any type of akoya, fwp or tahitian, that can rival my finest SS ;) I LOVE the south sea pearls ! Hugs and kisses

Hmm, hard to say. I think that on the first picture it looks like a genuine SS. The second picture with the coin, i think the color looks a bit weird. 10 MM is a small ss pearl. All my SS are between 10,5 - 17 mm ;)

Hehe, thank you Inga. I have no clue about akoya pearl prices ;) I only deal with SS, but i honestly tought that AAA akoya were more expansive than that. Now i know :)
