Look at these amazing colors from freshwater edison pearls.

The Chinese freshwater pearl industry has made significant advancements in recent years. With strategic marketing, we believe these unique colors will become instantly recognizable as freshwater pearls, similar to how Tahitian pearls are renowned for their distinctive black, peacock, and silver-grey hues.

I love the 4th strand of purples on the left hand-side and cannot ignore my love of lavender-pink, the 5th strand from the right hand side. Gorgeous metallic color, all of them

I believe the pearls in these pictures are of natural color and they look absolutely beautiful. Like a few of us experienced, I too have a strand of glorious and colorful Edison pearls, and I posted it in this forum a couple years ago — they do not look like that any more. I have never worn them one single time, and they were always stored in a velvet jewelry box with no access to any kind of light unless when I occassionally opened that box. Fading and loss of luster seems unevitable with this kind of pearl. I hope these super size top quality ones are far more durable, but I won't dare to pay until they prove to last.
StarryPearl, from what I have learned, pearls truly do need to be worn to keep in good form. One shouldn't hide them away, it would be a shame to never wear them while in their prime, perhaps helping keep them "moist" to only look at them and then not want to wear them because they don't look as beautiful as when you bought them.

I am and always will be a purple girl! I also love the rose copper but I really want a purple strand. They are all stunning.

Shani, I had known what you were saying all along, but you never saw what I was seeing. The fading of natural purple Edison pearls—especially the ones produced by younger mussels, as some people say—is a real thing that plenty of us have experienced, whether we wear them or not. There’s no need for that kind of tone.
