Hello new here, I’ve inherited these pearls. I’ve done a little google search but no luck - even searched the box it came in which reads I’m thinking “Chantal” with the crown symbol above the “a” Any idea of what something like this may be worth (if anything) I do know they are real pearls however that is about it. Does anyone have any insight to as of
a) are they a vintage pearl of such or
b) an idea of worth. I’m very much curious

They look like imitation pearls to me. The uniformity of the shape, size, color, luster of the pearls, the lack of overtones, and the low end way they are finished and attach to the clasp all tend to indicate imitation pearls.

I see dark areas on some of the pearls. Is this grime, or are these places where the coating has flaked away, exposing the glass bead?

I just want to say that imitation pearls can still be sentimental. They may not have any market value but they can still be special to you. If you like them, wipe them clean with a soft damp cloth, and enjoy them.
