M.STERN

M. STERN was founded in 2013 by Thomas "Monte" Ortega-Stern. Monte is an independent gem trader and natural pearl specialist. He offers his services to clients wishing to buy or sell precious gemstones and, occasionally, rare antiques. His work primarily involves supplying Brazilian colored stones (Paraiba tourmaline & Imperial Topaz) and natural saltwater pearls.

Monte previously managed the private collection of his father, Dr. Thomas K. Stern, President of TGM Corp. (T. STERN- Natural Pearl Traders) before forming his own company. He has a degree in Political Science from Humboldt State University and has travelled extensively, living in China and Brazil for some time.
