Love the photos. Try again and see if you can find the "macro" setting on the camera or borrow one that has the feature. I'm looking forward to seeing more. I give talks on rare pearls and am always interested in seeing good examples.

Tridacna Gigas is a protected species, so if they are being harvested, you can expect some negative comments. I don't know what the rules are in your area.
